Conversation. Something that A lot of us have had the audactity to ignore for the last year or two due to the coronavirus. We’ve gotten used to keeping our conversations within our households, close friends, and family.

Due to the need to stay within a certain distance Covid has made meeting people an absolute no go.

With that, Ive seen that there are a lot of people struggling with communicating, social anxiety, and paranoia in regards to going back into the world.

While emails and quick zoom calls were the norm during the pandemic a lot of people are having to return to the office.

Below are 10 reminders to take with you as you readjust in the work force as we knew it.

1. Listen

The majority of us are not good listeners. Rather than listening to what an individual is saying, we tend to interrupt or we’re of the notion that we are already aware of what will be said by the speaker next. We miss the point being made and end up misunderstanding or even repeating what someone has already said.

Listening also requires patience. Not everyone talks or “delivers” the same and that can cause some people to try and rush them along or correct the way things are being said.
